Requirements

  • College degree at an accredited university with major, minor, or focus in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field or 2 years bookkeeping experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization and ability to multi-task
  • Working knowledge with MicroSoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of Outlook and PowerPoint is beneficial
  • Peachtree Accounting Software experience preferred

Sales Account Manager

We’re looking for a sales-oriented professional who values productivity and customer engagement.

Donna Salyers Fabulous-Furs wholesale division is seeking a talented Sales Account Manager with a passion for creating and growing partnerships in the apparel and interior goods wholesale industry. This is a full-time position, reporting to the VP, Sales & Marketing. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated experience in customer acquisition, account management, marketing insights, and professional customer communication and organic sales growth.

A global omni-channel fashion retailer and vertically-integrated manufacturer of faux fur coats, jackets, apparel, accessories, and interior goods for women, men and children. Donna Salyers Fabulous-Furs are sold in catalogs, online, in fine boutiques and retail stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Lord & Taylor, Barneys, Yves Delorme and Neiman Marcus, and high end hotels and casinos throughout the country.

Job Overview:

  • Manage existing partner accounts as assigned maintaining a book of business at minimum of 1.5M.
  • Create and manage strategic plans and customer profit and loss analysis.
  • Maintain new business development with successful execution of pre-determined quota.
  • Review and communicate yearly and monthly wholesale goals.
  • Identify and target new business and promotional opportunities and attend client meetings as needed.
  • Completing administrative tasks as required for account management.
  • Business travel required for trade shows—approximately 8-10 trips (2-4 days each) per year.
  • Marketing needs as needed (tradeshows, showroom and special events, and fashion shows).

Requirements:

  • 5+ years professional sales experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in professional client relationship management.
  • Have the ability to manage a portfolio of accounts while prospecting for new business accounts and track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to understand the wholesale sales funnel and manage a successful path to purchase process.
  • Ability to work effectively within a close-knit, nimble team.
  • Be an effective communicator in both written and verbal communications and possess advanced problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to think outside the box targeting new customers and build rapport easily with a wide variety of diverse clients.
  • Have confidence and poise to deliver compelling sales presentations—explaining product and service additions and introduce new products and services through all communication channels, including email.
  • Possess a persuasive and confident approach to selling small and large-scale contracts and close sales with conviction, overcoming any challenges or objections.
  • Contribute information to aid strategic sales objectives: evaluate current product results; identify needs to be filled; monitor competitive products; and analyze and relay customer feedback.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Have proficiency with CRM processes and tools.

Minimum Educational Requirements:
A certificate or degree in business, communications, marketing, fashion, or interior design is desired but not required.

Performs various banquet and event functions including but not limited to greeter, server, bartender, passing hors d’ oeuvres or drinks, reception busser, buffet runner, dishwasher and table set-up to ensure that we exceed the expectations of our clients and their guests.

  • Answer telephones, screen and direct calls, schedule appointments
  • Cover front desk Wednesday -Sunday (and arrange coverage for any time during this period when unable to be at front desk)

  • Enter customer data
  • Process customer payments
  • Follow up on leads generated from various sources
  • Manage schedules of sales consultants
  • Assist with company bi-weekly, semi-annual and annual events
  • Perform planning of events as directed
  • Assist customer picking up merchandise
  • Receive and sort mail

Requirements

  • College degree from an accredited university is desired (major, minor, or focus in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Event Planning or a related field is preferred but not required)
